Scope 1, 2 & 3

Climate impact analysis is typically divided into scopes, depending on the type of emissions to be counted:

• Scope 1 - Direct - emissions generated directly by the company (e.g. making cement, driving trucks)
• Scope 2 - Indirect - emissions generated by services purchased by the company (e.g. buying non-renewable energy)
• Scope 3 - indirect - upstream - purchased goods, employee commuting,
